I International Congress of Education in Animal Sciences (ICEAS)

June 7, 2019 - Évora

This congress intends to be an excellent forum for researchers, teachers and practitioners to exchange ideas, opinions, and above all experiences and research results relating to the preparation of students, teaching and learning methodologies and processes.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following topic areas:

  • Teaching and learning experiences

  • Teaching outside the classroom (e.g., practicums, mobility)

  • Education accreditation, quality and assessment

  • Evaluation and assessment of student learning

  • New teaching/learning theories and models

  • Scientific and research education

  • Innovative materials and new tools for teaching

  • Educational technology (e.g., virtual labs, e-learning)

  • Emerging technologies in learning

Participants from all over the world are expected to present their latest research findings. The program committee encourages the submission of abstracts that communicate applied and empirical findings of interest for high quality education on all aspects of veterinary medicine, food safety and animal sciences.

The ICEAS’19 congress will be held on June 7, 2019 at University of Évora, Portugal. Évora has been promoted to World Heritage Site, by UNESCO, since 1986 and became a major tourist destination in all seasons of the year. Évora is a small beautiful city, not too far away from the sea, with innumerable historical places to visit, several pleasant options for overnight stay and traditional, yet innovative, gastronomic choices.
